Jennifer's Bermuda Wedding: 'A Small Piece of Paradise'

When planning a destination wedding the biggest fear is planning and trusting the people you are working with for this special day. Being removed from the situation you can only hope and pray that the people you are working with are professionals and will do the job they have been hired to do. After months of research I finally made the decision on Bermuda for our wedding and I chose to work with the Fairmont Southampton. The SMARTEST decision I ever made. Wendy Rukstalis was assigned to my wedding as my coordinator; the luckiest thing that happened to me. Wendy made the planning and the organization a breeze. She verified my choices for the florist and the photographer and re-assured me that my choices where ones that they recommend from the Fairmont…phew!! Wendy walked me through each step and helped me organize everything from my spa days with my bridesmaids to moving all my guests from ceremony to reception to running to get new batteries for my brother-in-law when his camera died at the reception dinner. She is a gem and made it so I really didn’t have to think or worry about a thing. She was there every step of the way and made it effortless. I don’t know that I can ever thank her enough for making that day a memory that will remain with me forever. The Fairmont Southampton is beautiful and everyone from Wendy to the manager at the Beach Club made everything PERFECT. Bermuda is a small piece of paradise and I just can’t wait to go back to celebrate our first anniversary.
